Sock Obama Monkey doll called racist.


A Utah company offering online an Barack Obama sock monkey, of course named for Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama, says it didn’t mean to anger or offend anyone.

Utah company causes nationwide uproar over ‘Sock Obama’ Some are saying “The ‘Sock Obama’ is disgusting,” others say the Sock Obama makers are racists. With a reaction such as this, you can only wonder if they will be remove from the market. The West Jordan company selling a sock monkey modeled after black presidential candidate Barack Obama. “Once again, our Democrat friends never miss an opportunity to sock Americans with a new tax hike,” said Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.). The Utah company caused a nationwide uproar over the ‘Sock Obama’ toy.

Obama supporters are all in a frenzy over a toy being sold over the internet by the Utah couple. The toy is a sock monkey wearing a suit with a lapel pin for Barack Obama. Obamamaniacs have been filling online forums and blogs with angry words about the Sock Obama because the Obama Sock Monkey causes outrage in people. Obama fans anyway. God forbid the man is depicted as a monkey.

I thought I’d check E-Bay to see if I could find one of these Obama sock dolls, but there weren’t any there. If any were made, someone has them and is holding out for the big money. Maybe someday we’ll see one in the Smithsonian. Why don’t we just throw the First Amendment — wait, all of them — out the window?
